Tariş has a long history of success as the provider of the best olive oil available in the Aegean Region. Founded in 1915 by local farmers in the region, Tariş Company is owned by 28.000 producer-partners that have worked on this land for generations, organized under 30 cooperatives in 6 Turkish cities. Tariş Olive Oil is the only Turkish olive oil that is accredited and certified by the International Olive Oil Council (IOOC).

The olives are carefully harvested by traditional methods, pressed and stored under sanitary conditions in some of the most technologically advanced facilities in the world. Possessing one of the 35 laboratories accredited by the IOOC and being one of the 15 members of the Worldwide Olive Oil Quality Control Programme, Tariş produces the top quality olive oil from the world’s best olives, the Aegean olives.

The Aegean Region, known as the Riviera of olive trees, nesties on the coast of the Aegean Sea, an arm of the Mediterranean. Herodotus, the Tamous historian, once described the Aegean coast as having “the most beautiful sky and the best climate in the world”. This area is known to produce the worldwide finest quality olives. It has olive trees over thou sand years old.
